NC Theatre Stargazing Series
Solution
I was tasked with creating a five-episode video series hosted by NCT's Artistic Director, Eric Woodall, to spotlight notable performers who had collaborated with the theatre over the years. Each episode featured a diverse array of stars, from veteran Broadway actors to local celebrities. In addition to producing the video content, I developed promotional graphics and branding to support the series throughout the pandemic.
The resulting series showcased over 15 performers and garnered significant attention, with each episode reaching upwards of 500 views on YouTube and generating additional engagement across social media platforms.
Problem
The COVID-19 pandemic led to the indefinite closure of theatres nationwide, including the North Carolina Theatre (NCT), which sought to maintain audience engagement despite the inability to stage live performances. After an internship, the previous summer, where I demonstrated my video editing capabilities, the Marketing Director reached out to enlist my assistance for a new project.
